Northbound Labs

Production software for founders who sell online.

Storefronts, automation, and the systems your business actually runs on — built by people who run one themselves.

Services

Five categories of work. Fixed price where the scope allows it.

No open-ended hourly rate as the headline — anything with real variability is quoted as “starting at,” final price set after a scope call (full pricing table below).

Custom-built sites, applications, and SaaS MVP development — not template themes.

Brand Site$2,800

5–7 page custom-designed site, CMS-editable, mobile-responsive, one revision round.

Third-party provider integration, threshold-based auto-processing, balance/health monitoring.

Custom API Buildfrom $5,500

Purpose-built REST API for a partner or internal consumer.

Work

What’s actually running in production.

Case study

A three-shop e-commerce platform with automated fulfillment.

Built and operating a multi-storefront SellAuth deployment — budget, mid, and premium tiers under one operator, a shared Discord-based order and support flow, and third-party fulfillment automation with margin controls on every tier. Not a demo — this handles real orders today.

The problem

One operator running three price-tiered storefronts needed a single coherent system, not three disconnected stores each with their own fulfillment and pricing logic.

What was built

A linked multi-shop SellAuth deployment, a Discord ticket bot that verifies and routes every order, and third-party fulfillment automation with per-service margin and threshold controls.

Outcome

Live since August 2026, processing real customer orders and support tickets every day across all three shops.

Case study

A Discord order and support bot handling real tickets.

Ticket-based order lookup, staff tooling, and an escalation flow for a live storefront — the same category of system this team runs in production today. Every ticket resolves through the same bot-driven flow this team uses for its own shops.

Process

Four steps. No diagram required.

01

Scope call

What you need, what’s in and out of scope, timeline.

02

Fixed-price proposal

A real number before any work starts, tied to the package or a custom quote.

03

Build

Regular check-ins, working software shown early, not just at the end.

04

Handoff

Documentation, access, and a defined support window before it becomes a retainer or ends cleanly.

Pricing

Every package, one table.

Fixed prices for defined scope. Custom work is quoted after a scope call — never an open-ended hourly rate.

About

A small shop that builds what it sells.

Northbound Labs is a small, hands-on shop. There’s no bench of account managers between you and the person writing the code — the same people who scope a project build it and hand it off.

Before this was a service, it was a business problem: an operator running three price-tiered SellAuth storefronts needed one coherent system instead of three disconnected stores, a Discord bot that could look up an order and actually route a support ticket, and fulfillment automation that wouldn’t quietly lose money on a bad discount tier. That system is what this agency builds from — see it running in the work below — and every package on this site is a productized version of something already running in production.

Projects are built and delivered by the same small team throughout, not handed off to a generic team of experts. If you want to know exactly who’s writing your code before you sign anything, that’s a normal question to ask on the scope call.

Contact / Order

Buy a package directly, or book a scope call.

If your project doesn’t fit one of these exactly, a scope call comes first — not a form that goes nowhere.

Buy a package

Fixed-price packages are purchasable directly through SellAuth checkout. Pick a package above and check out — the build starts from there.

Purchase a package

Book a scope call

For “starting at” packages or custom work. A short call, a real scope, a fixed-price proposal after — with a deposit-to-book option.

Book a scope call

Tell us what you want built. We reply to every inquiry — this isn’t a form that goes nowhere.

FAQ

Straight answers to the questions that matter.

What’s not included in a fixed price?+

Scope changes after the proposal is signed, content or copywriting unless it’s stated in the package, and third-party service costs — hosting, APIs, payment processing fees — are billed separately from the build price.

How long does a typical project take?+

It depends on the package. A Brand Site or an Order & Support Bot is typically a matter of weeks from signed proposal to handoff; a Web Application or a Multi-Shop Build takes longer. The exact timeline is part of every fixed-price proposal, agreed before work starts.

Do you work with an existing codebase, or only greenfield builds?+

Both. A lot of the work is exactly this: an existing store, bot, or internal tool that’s outgrown its current setup. The scope call covers what’s already there before any price is quoted.

What happens after launch — is support included?+

Every fixed-price package includes a defined support window after handoff, covered in the proposal. After that, ongoing work runs through the Care Plan or Dev Retainer, month-to-month, not a surprise renewal.

Can I see the code or access before final payment?+

Yes. Builds are shown working during development, not just delivered at the end, and access to what’s been built so far is available on request before final payment — you’re not paying in full for something you haven’t seen run.
